Active Membership ($54.17 per month)

Any full-time, sworn Police Officers who are employed by a police agency within Wicomico County, and/or the Maryland State Police, Maryland Natural Resources Police, or any US Federal Law Enforcement agency can join Lodge #111. The National FOP Constitution and By-laws also state that you cannot be a FOP Member of more than one Lodge. So, if you are an active member and still want to be a member with us, please scroll down and look at the Associate Plan.

Active Membership includes:

Attorney on Retainer for Criminal/Civil, or Internal Affairs cases *FOP Attorney’s are licensed to practice in MD only.

Life Insurance Plan

Life Insurance: *Benefits Reduce by 50% when the member turns 65.

$ 5,000 Life benefit is paid when a member dies from any cause.
$10,000 Accidental Death benefit is paid in addition to the Life benefit when a member dies from a covered accidental bodily injury that is independent of all other causes such and illness and disease.
$10,000 Line of Duty benefit is paid in addition to the above benefits when an active at work member is killed while performing law enforcement duties.

Additional Benefits are paid when a member is involved in an accident that directly results in one of the following losses:

$10,000 – Loss of hands or feet
$ 5,000 – Loss of one hand or one foot
$10,000 – Loss of sight, both eyes
$5,000 – Loss of sight, one eye
$10,000 – Seat Belt: Benefit pays in addition to other applicable benefits if a member is killed as a result of an automobile accident while properly utilizing a seat belt, as evidenced by a police report.
$5,000 – Air Bag: Benefit pays in addition to other applicable benefits if a member is killed as a result of an automobile accident while protected by a properly deployed air bag. *This benefit is only paid if the Seat Belt benefit is payable.

After you submit your application you will immediately be covered by the FOP legal plan. HOWEVER, you will not be enrolled in any other benefit provided by the FOP, or given a key fob until you attend a meeting IN PERSON. In-person attendance is required for your final membership approval by vote of the members.

Meeting are on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6pm.

Retired Membership (Pricing Below)

We accept retired police officers as members! Retired members have full access to the Lodge, voting rights and can also hold positions on the Board of Directors.

Associate Membership (pricing below)

FOP Lodge #111 has two levels of “Associate Membership” for those who are considering becoming affiliated with our Lodge. Both Associate Membership Plans require annual subscription, which will begin the month they join.

Plan A Package Details:

*Plan A is reserved for “Active Members” of other FOP Lodges and Civilian Employees of Police Agencies.

*Plan B is for citizens in good standing with the community, and who are not Police Officers or employed by a police agency.
**Plan B is also available to those who qualify for Plan A.
