The Secretary has custody of all books, records, documents, the Lodge Seal, and official paraphernalia and equipment. The Secretary records minutes from each meeting to ensure that Lodge’s business is accurate and thorough. In addition to those duties, the Secretary is also responsible for paying the Per-Capita dues each year. Per-Capita dues are required for the Lodge to remain in good standing with the National FOP Headquarters.

Matt is a Sergeant with the Salisbury Police Department and began his career over 15 years ago. He currently serves as a Road Patrol shift supervisor. Matt previously served on the Board of Directors since 2016, when he was elected as the Lodge Treasurer.

Matt is also a successful business owner. MayaBella’s pizza has been in business since 2013 and has two locations in Salisbury. Matt is a true visionary, and MayaBella’s mission is to serve a community, not just food, but to provide high-quality food at an affordable price. Matt acknowledges that a community of people makes MayaBella’s what it is today.
